Unusually no signature to this royal announcement |
The announcement of the birth of a new 'Earl of Dunbarton' for May 6th 2019, came at 2.00pm UK time, with a Palace Statement, followed by a Twitter post approx. one hour later. It stated that the half blue-blood baby was born at 5.26am - This caused some confusion within the media outlets, many not understanding that the birth had taken place hours prior to the announcement from the Palace about the Duchess of Sussex going 'into labour'... the majority of royal correspondents on Sky News and BBC sent into a frenzy asking why it wasn't announced earlier?!

Adrian Dunbar in 'The Hollow Crown'... I think you know where I'm going with this don't you? |
However, Adrian is now the hottest property on TV in the UK. He recently joked to a less than modest Piers Morgan while being interviewed by him for breakfast television that, 'I'm the biggest TV star... this week!'
So the name 'Dunbar' has literally been on everyone's lips for a while now.

Prince Harry 2nd Earl of Dunbar ton, beaming outside some Windsor Castle stable and barn, no manger in sight however! |
Dunbar family name in ancient Scotland, they lived in the barony of Dunbar on the North Sea coast near Edinburgh. The place name comes from the Gaelic words dùn, meaning "a fort," and barr, meaning "top," or "summit."
Dumbarton comes from the Scottish Gaelic Dùn Breatainn meaning "fort of the Britons". ... By the 18th century the names "County of Dunbarton" and "County of Dumbarton" were used interchangeably.

Adrian Dunbar was born on August 1, 1958 in Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, UK, which in the southern hemisphere is the birthday of all horses, so I found it amusing to see Prince Harry standing in front of a stable full of horses in your post.

I like Harry and Meg, but I have to mention that this year also marks the 25th anniversary ... or should that be the Silver jubilee of the movie 'Dumb and Dumber' ... just saying;-)
Anyway here is a song to celebrate the baby's arrival -

Hey, what can they do to me anyway, transport me to Australia?-)
Silly me, I saw the Dumbarton entry in the last paragraph of the post and the word dumb played on my mind, but Harry is the second Earl of Dunbar, not Dumbar I see now;-)
Interestingly the baby was born on the first day of Ramadan I see -

Good spot about Ramadan this year!
I like the whole Horses thing and the stable and the non-existent manger... just thought all of that was quite funny really. I was a fan of the Royal Family in a 'colonial ex-pat' sort of way, but have since found the antics of the young royals too much to stomach … I like the old fashioned romanticised way things about monarchy were presented to us (even though the masses are brainwashed into compliance) Is it a contradictions to be a Marxist and still like the Queen? (LMAO) Shows you how confusing it can get!
I felt pretty sure the use of Dumbarton and Dunbar were purposeful NLP for the UK public re this new royal news somehow, it's just another one of those coincidences!
Hi Marie
My goodness how the time has gotten away from me.
I am terribly sorry- YOu gifted me a lovely share and I let it get away from me
Tardy, but, not forgotten
re: the royal birth etc.,
I just find the whole Megan and Harry "marriage" and birth very contrived to advance specific political aims..
